PACTware is an innovative and manufacturer-independent configuration tool that simplifies the process of configuring hundreds of field devices in the field. The latest innovative version of PACTware 6.1 offers now many new functions. This platform will now support the new FDT3 standard thereby extending the integration of FDI Device Packages and FDT web-based DTM’s, while ensuring and maintaining compatibility with existing install base. At the recent board meeting on February 21, 2024, followed by the 38th general assembly meeting of the PACTware consortium on February 22, 2024, held at the premises of Bopp & Reuther Messtechnik in Speyer, significant strides were made in advancing the further development of this manufacturer independent configuration tool. From the 23 member companies along with the PACTware Consortium, such as VEGA, Pepperl+Fuchs, KSB, Turck, BOORST, Code Wrights, Bürkert and Bopp & Reuther Messtechnik provided and exchanged during these 2 days comprehensive updates on the latest developments within the PACTware Working Groups.
