In October, Bopp & Reuther Messtechnik successfully obtained the corresponding EAC mark for its density meters of the series DIMF for the territory of the Russian Customs Union. The following countries belong to this customs union: Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia.
Since the density meter of the series DIMF Compact is more suitable for installation in machines and laboratory units, no Ex approval is required.
For the other three density meters of the series DIMF 1.3, DIMF 2.0 and DIMF 2.1, the necessary Ex approvals have been granted.
As a result, the density meters of the DIMF 1.3 series, e.g. for the density measurement of hydrocarbons in the mineral oil industry, as well as the DIMF 2.0 and DIMF 2.1 series, e.g. for the density and concentration measurement of chemical products, can now also be used in the customs union in hazardous areas.
